Process Team Lead

Our client, a leading supplier of oil and gas, and renewable energy equipment and solutions, is seeking a Process Team Lead to join their well-established team in the Norwich office.

Job Summary

This is a 5-6 month contract role, working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. A minimum of 3 days per week will be office-based, and the remaining 2 days will be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design and delivery of process-related projects.
  • Develop and implement project delivery documents, including philosophies, reports, calculations, and drawings.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all projects are adequately supported and resourced.
  • Manage and provide updates on design project progress.
  • Improve the quality of design output, including the development and validation of in-house standard calculations, drawings, and documentation.
Requirements
  • BEng/MEng in Chemical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of O&G industry experience.
  • Experience with topside piping systems in the offshore environment, both green and brownfield.
  • Experience with survey requirements and process-related equipment.
  • Proficient user of HYSYS steady-state software.
Desirable Skills
  • Chartered Chemical Engineer (IChemE).
  • Experience with drilling rigs and drilling activities and subsea engineering and subsea equipment.
  • Experience in Wellhead & Xmas tree interfacing.
  • Experience with BIM & digital twin systems.
