GLL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at Clissold Leisure Centre. As a Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze information related to individual clients to create personalized fitness programs.
  • Design and deliver safe and effective exercise sessions, including one-on-one and group training.
  • Provide inductions and general exercise programs, introducing clients to new equipment as needed.
  • Teach classes or small group training sessions, with training provided to ensure success.
  • Select relevant exercises and design programs that address safety and individual client needs.
  • Produce program cards for clients and suggest exercise adaptations to accommodate individual differences.
  • Use logical and progressive teaching methodologies to introduce exercises and promote client progress.
  • Provide general advice on how to progress individual programs and assist clients with technique correction.
  • Interact with clients to promote retention and adherence to exercise programs.
