We're seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Research Engineer to join our team, working closely with our CTO to explore cutting-edge AI research and identify potential AI products. You'll be responsible for taking ideas from concept to proof-of-concept and spinning them into new startups.


About the Role

You'll be an expert in AI, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the sector, and a genuine passion for AI technologies. You'll have a solid background in Foundation models, hands-on experience in developing, training, and deploying AI models, and expertise in fine-tuning recent LLMs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy AI models, leveraging Foundation models and recent LLMs
  • Collaborate with our CTO to identify AI research opportunities and potential products
  • Take ideas from concept to proof-of-concept and spin them into new startups
  • Advise and mentor startups, driving their success


What We Offer

A competitive salary of up to £200k, equity in all spun-out startups, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI research and innovation. As a remote role, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, with occasional meetings with our CTO.


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, with a solid background in Foundation models
  • Hands-on experience in developing, training, and deploying AI models
  • Expertise in fine-tuning recent LLMs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in startup environments
