Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic KS1 Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting and encouraging pupils in their learning on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist teachers in the classroom, providing individualized attention to pupils as needed.
  • Conduct Maths, English, and Phonics interventions to help pupils achieve academic success.
  • Assist pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, and Speech and Language difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.

Requirements:

  • Good academic background, including a degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
  • Confident and able to use your own initiative in the classroom.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for both pupils and the school.
  • Engaging and able to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff members.
