Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy/Practice Manager to join our team at Becket Hall Day Nursery. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Work closely with the Nursery Manager to achieve the nursery's goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the nursery's curriculum and educational programs.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Room Leader or in a similar role.
  • Paediatric first aid, safeguarding, and food safety qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
