Purdicom Cook Job Description

Purdicom is a leading IT distributor specialising in Wireless, Security & Cloud Technology. We are seeking a part-time Cook to join our friendly team in a rural location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality food for up to 50 employees, focusing on deli-style light bites such as paninis, wraps, salads, sandwiches, soups, cakes, and sweet snacks.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu planning and design of food service within a specified budget, ensuring a high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control.
  • Cater to individual needs, including allergies, and maintain a safe and healthy food environment.
  • Manage food stocks, ordering, and controlling within a designated budget.
Requirements:
  • Ability to cook well unsupervised and come up with new and varied food options.
  • Hold a food hygiene certificate.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable ordering shopping and managing a budget.
  • Committed to achieving results through a can-do attitude.
