Job Title: Microsoft Security Engineer

Cloud People is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust security solutions centered around Microsoft Defender technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture and Design:
    • Develop and maintain blueprints for Microsoft Defender solutions, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with best practices.
    • Design and implement secure architecture for Microsoft Defender components.
  • Implementation and Optimization:
    • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender tools, ensuring optimal performance and security.
    • Optimize security policies and alerts, reducing false positives and improving incident response.
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security risks.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Defender:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Defender features and best practices, providing expert guidance to operational teams.
    • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Defender products, including Endpoint, Cloud, Office, XDR, Identity, Cloud Apps, and IoT.
  • Secondary Experience:
    • Familiarity with Entra, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft Purview, with experience integrating Defender with broader security ecosystems.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Defender products, with a strong understanding of security architecture and design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Desirable certifications: SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500.
