Job Summary

Hunter Selection Careers is seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, production, and planning, to ensure seamless new product introductions.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes for new products, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop detailed plans to increase production flows, decrease costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure design for manufacture principles are applied, enabling efficient manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Program and operate CNC machines, including 3 and 5 axis milling machines, using CAD/CAM software such as edgeCAM or Fusion360.
  • Develop and maintain process flow documents, SOPs, PFMEAs, and control plans to ensure compliance and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design for manufacture principles and their application in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, including 3 and 5 axis milling machines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify areas for improvement.
