- Develop and implement strategies to optimize vehicle scheduling, maximize vehicle utilization, and reduce costs.
- Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
- Lead the recruitment, retention, and training of warehouse and transport teams, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment, transport, and health and safety legislation.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a customer-centric transport and warehouse operation.
- Transport Manager CPC qualification is essential.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of CI techniques, KPI management, employment law, and health and safety legislation.
