The IT Business Analyst serves as a crucial link between the organization and its clients, collaborating with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Project Team to identify and articulate both external and internal software requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with internal teams to comprehend departmental and organizational needs.

- Work with developers, testers, and other SMEs to establish the necessary technical vision.

- Support acceptance and integration testing, collaborating with the IT Project Team on project plans.
- Familiarize with various methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
- Update change documentation, business requirements documents, and map development phases.
- Coordinate projects as required, supporting the entire project lifecycle.
- Adhere to ISO27001 standards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Comply with OPAL's Consumer Duty policies and practices.
Essential Qualifications
- Proficient in business analysis, requirements gathering, and design methodologies.
- Experience in change management and implementation strategies.
- Background in IT software delivery and change processes.
- Skilled in creating Business Requirements Documents, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, and related documentation.
- Understanding of the Financial Services sector, particularly in Protection and Investments.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Adaptable with a flexible approach to change.
- Proactive in enhancing business efficiencies.
- Capable of problem-solving and conducting root cause analysis.
