We are seeking an experienced Senior Sound Technician to join our team for the RSC residency at the Barbican. As a key member of our sound team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sound solutions for our productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Programming and operating as the No.1 mix position on Midsummer Night's Dream at the Barbican, London.
  • Teaching the no.1 position and deputise for the No.2 as required.
  • Working with visiting sound designers to realise their design.
  • Ensuring that effective and efficient technical support is in place for all productions.
  • Complying with health and safety policies.
  • Responsibility for daily sound requirements of the show.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge and understanding of sound, communications and sound-related disciplines in the theatre environment.
  • Familiarity and confidence using Digico SD T software.
  • Good leadership and supervisory skills.
  • The ability to work within a team.
  • Have a positive and solutions-focused outlook.
  • Focused on working collaboratively.
