About the Role

You will be part of our dedicated R&D teams in the Cambridge office, working on creating and improving the products behind our rapid growth. Our software engineers work on a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset. As an engineer within the DevOps team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and improving development workflows to promote good security practices in the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize existing development tooling to identify baseline security requirements and security controls for implementation;
  • Support engineering teams and projects with outcomes of security assessments and tooling (e.g., code review, system acceptance testing);
  • Promote the operation of secure coding to the wider workforce;
  • Experience working in DevOps or a production environment;
  • Experience writing scripts or applications, ideally in Python;
  • Analytical skills to solve problems and support the devops teams;
  • Staying up to date on the latest secure development frameworks and latest security news;
  • Ability to explain highly technical findings and risks to individuals with a technical and non-technical background;
  • Professional technical writing skills;
