Procurement Business Partner

Adbri Limited is seeking an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our team in Birkenhead, SA. As a key member of our finance operations team, you will be responsible for delivering contract and procurement services to our designated area of the business.

Your primary objective will be to achieve the best possible procurement outcomes and ensure effective management of procurement activities and relationships with suppliers and the business. You will be responsible for selecting suppliers, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with Adbri Procurement standards and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a strategy for contracting and procurement
  • Tendering activities, including RFQ, RFT, and RFP
  • Contract and procurement package award
  • Contract and PO management
  • Major and minor capital/operational packages
  • Reporting and developing category strategies

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain management, or a related discipline
  • Relevant working experience in a similar role
  • Contracts experience (minimum 5 years)
  • Procurement equipment packages (desirable minimum 2 years)
  • Operations experience
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing supplier relationships
