About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Utility Line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our commercial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Site Surveys: Conduct thorough site surveys to identify electrical infrastructure and design works to meet our clients' needs.
  • Electrical Installation: Install and terminate electrical cables, including LV cable terminations from 240mm to 1000mm, and work with large LV supplies within LV switch rooms and substations.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments of the workplace to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Technical Advice: Provide technical advice on cable installation and design works to ensure compliance with BS7671.
  • Project Management: Manage electrical work packages to a high standard, reviewing and understanding fully the requirements of all work instructions.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: 18th edition C&G L3 2019, risk assessment training, Level 2 or Level 3 C&G Electrical Installation, C&G Inspection & Testing Course, and C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Skills: Ability to read schematic drawings, good communication skills, ability to work well in a team or individually, organisational and planning skills, and a full clean driving license (up to 3.5T only).
