Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct thorough vehicle checks to maintain safety standards and report any defects.
- Adhere to driver’s hours and working time directives to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain excellent communication with the logistics team and clients.
Location:
Operating from a modern logistics depot.
Working Hours:
- Flexible shifts available across various days and times.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay rates including holiday pay:
- Weekday Day Shift: £17.14 per hour
- Weekday Night Shift: £18.32 per hour
- Weekend Day and Night Shifts: £21.28 - £21.88 per hour
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1/C+E license.
- No more than 6 penalty points; no serious driving convictions.
- Current DCPC and tachograph cards.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
