About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaning Professional to join our team at University Partnerships Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens, and white goods.
  • Ensure all areas are clean and tidy, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to designated areas.
  • During the summer season, make beds, strip and change sheeting, collect laundered linen, and pack laundry for collection.
  • Clean internal and external windows, as applicable.
  • Clean and wash glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with residents, Residence Managers, and UPP staff.
  • Act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Good conversational standard of the English language.
  • Ability to read and interpret Health & Safety guidance.
  • Flexibility to work at other sites and additional hours when required.
