Banking Solicitor Opportunity

MCS Group is delighted to be working alongside a prestigious global law firm to recruit a Banking Solicitor with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their dynamic Banking Team in Belfast.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-value financing transactions across the UK and beyond, within a leading law firm known for its innovation and client-focused approach.

  • Advising on complex financing transactions under both English and Northern Irish law.
  • Managing a broad caseload of banking and finance matters, acting for UK and European banks as well as borrowers.
  • Supporting clients with innovative, commercial legal solutions.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's international offices to deliver multi-jurisdictional legal services.
  • Handle a wide range of banking and finance transactions, ensuring a high-quality legal service.
  • Work directly with clients, providing clear and commercially focused legal advice.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and help foster strong client relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with market practices and developments in banking law.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified solicitor with 1 to 5 years of PQE in banking and finance, gained in a leading law firm.
  • Strong technical skills, coupled with commercial awareness and enthusiasm for business development.
