**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing estimating activities, and overseeing spares sales. You will also play a crucial role in managing equipment sales, providing input to our company strategy, and contributing to our operational goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Manage estimating activities, including preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations.
- Oversee spares sales, including managing inventory, pricing, and customer relationships.
- Manage equipment sales, including bespoke capital equipment and standard products.
- Provide input to our company strategy, direction, and operational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales and business objectives.
**Requirements**
- Engineering qualification, HNC as a minimum.
- 10+ years of experience in process manufacturing, special purpose machinery, or similar manufacturing environment.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales executive role.
- 3+ years of experience in people management, preferably in an engineering environment.
- Extensive technical, commercial sales, and cost estimation experience.
- Extensive client/supplier management experience in a technical/commercial environment.
