Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to support our client's FP&A team and Head of Finance. This is a critical role in driving the financial performance of the business and supporting their ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management Accounts Preparation: Prepare and present monthly management accounts to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting: Develop and implement budgets for new acquisitions and support the implementation of a new budgeting system.
  • Private Equity Support: Provide timely and accurate financial information to our client's private equity partners and assist with various ad hoc information requests.
  • KPI Reporting and Performance Analysis: Develop and maintain KPI reports and conduct performance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ad Hoc Requirements: Address various ad hoc financial requirements as they arise.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • FP&A Background: Strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with a proven track record in an acquisitive, private equity-backed environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in preparing management accounts and budgets, knowledge of KPI reporting and performance analysis.
  • Software Implementation: Experience with implementing new budgeting software.
  • Multi-Site Experience: Previous experience in a multi-site operation is advantageous.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
