Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Due to expansion and growth, we are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Dyce, Aberdeen.

The Role:

Fabrication and welding of handrails, extension sleeves, deck hatches, ROV panels, padeyes, and bottle stands. Valid coding is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours:

Day Shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7am-5:30pm (10 hours) with Thursday, 7am-4:30pm (9 hours). Overtime is available. Night Shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 6:30pm-5:00am (10 hours) with Thursday, 6:30pm-4:00am (9 hours). Overtime is available. Rate of Pay: Days, £24 per hour; Nights, £28 per hour + Overtime (dependent on experience).

Primary Objectives:

Welding and fabrication in workshop and site. Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural welding/fabrication works and standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication is preferred but not essential. At least 4 years' experience in the above role is required. Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operations and procedures as required for the role, including manual metal arc (MMA), tungsten inert gas (TIG), metal active/metal inert gas (MAG/MIG), gas shielded flux cored arc welding (FCAW), and oxy-acetylene cutting/welding. Experienced working with a variety of materials, including mild steel, austenitic stainless steel, and aluminium.
