Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Chapter Lead to join our team at MetroBank. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of process automation solutions using Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CE, and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the architectural community and subject matter experts to design and implement process automation solutions that meet customer needs.
- Assist in engineering and designing features that deliver customer value, ensuring CRM requirements are met.
- Establish and communicate standards, guardrails, and best practices for technology platforms and applications.
- Develop and maintain technical vision and roadmaps for the chapter, providing advice and examples for design and development.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the design and development lifecycle.
- Maintain a tech debt register and engage with feature teams to allocate capacity for fixing tech debt and enablers.
- Lead cross-functional teams and deliver effective collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with application vendors to ensure alignment of internal systems with vendor roadmaps and technology changes.
Requirements
- Excellent technical knowledge of Power Platform, Camunda BPM, and other automation applications.
- Strong software engineering background combined with expertise in agile ways of working.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and continuous integration using Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, and Azure DevOps.
- Proven track record and passion for leading and mentoring engineers within a team.
