AGM Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Construction division, delivering competitive and accurate tendering for projects up to £15m.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a solid building background with extensive knowledge of new build and refurbishment projects across various sectors. They will be responsible for preparing traditional and Design & Build tenders, appraising tender documents, and conducting risk and value management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and measured bills of quantities when required
  • Conduct risk and value management
  • Prepare budgets, estimates, and cost plans
  • Participate in internal tender adjudications and external client presentations

Requirements:

  • A Higher Education qualification (HNC, Diploma, Degree) in a construction-related field is beneficial but not essential
  • Good understanding of CDM 2015 Health & Safety requirements, modern construction methods, and contractual awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Project, and Excel
  • Experience with specialist estimating software is preferred

What We Can Offer:

This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00). Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Additional benefits include a Group Personal Pension, profit-related pay, employee share scheme, and opportunities for further training, development, and career progression.
