About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our elevators and escalators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and escalators
- Use technical ability to read drawings and schematics
- Problem solve and find effective solutions to complex issues
- Liaise directly with customers and build strong working relationships
- Work on a mixture of contractual repairs and quoted repair work
Requirements:
- Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3, J-Module or equivalent
- Have in-depth knowledge of various lift equipment and systems
- Experience with escalators or a willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a call-out rota and be willing to join our out-of-hours rota
- Possess a full UK driving license
