We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Instructor to join our Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. As a Technical Instructor, you will provide specific support work to Physiotherapists, involving the practice of clinical techniques, which require technical skill and clinical understanding of patients requiring rehabilitation.
Main Duties- Provide skilled support to Physiotherapists through ongoing treatment, education, and instruction for patients seen in both individual and group settings.
- Assist outpatient Physiotherapists in all aspects of patient care, with specific emphasis on exercise, education, and mobility programmes.
- Work independently, when appropriate, in the outpatient department, but with access to a Physiotherapist.
- Provide initial assessments for walking aids and train patients fully in their safe use.
- Support the Admin Team Lead with clerical and administrative duties as needed.

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
- English Language pass at GCSE Level (or equivalent).
- Maths pass at GCSE Level (or equivalent).
- NVQ3 in a relevant healthcare subject (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a Health, Community, or Social Care setting.
