We are seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join our client's team in Newbury. As a key member of the HQ Team, you will be responsible for managing the company's inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock holding, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain inventory levels, including setting and reviewing min and max stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers to arrange collections and track deliveries
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and assess supplier performance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide reports to Company Directors
- Manage purchasing software (Unleashed) and negotiate special pricing for large quantity orders
- Match supplier invoices to bills in Xero and ensure Sales Order Processing continues in any absence
- Procurement courses and qualifications (such as CIPS) are welcomed but not essential
- Experience of delivering strategic contributions to company growth and collaboration with other departments
- Developing and building external relationships, good background knowledge of purchasing, and experience in data trending and analysis
- Relationship Management, Logistics experience, and strong communication skills
- Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Yearly bonus of up to 10%, depending on performance
- Salary reviews and salary increases, depending on performance
- Paid qualifications, pension, and 20 days annual leave + BH
