Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team as a Roofer Supervisor at NSS. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for working on reactive and planned maintenance jobs, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs, including cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing maintenance.
• Perform guttering repairs and replacements, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Be flexible with working hours, working away, early starts, late finishes, and some weekends as required.
• Be available on call on a rota basis and willing to learn new skills.
• Utilize portable devices to undertake dynamic risk assessments on site and prepare reports on completed works.

Requirements

• Hold IPAF (1b, 3a, eb) certification.
• Have a CSCS labourer or skilled worker qualification.
• Be PASMA certified.
• Hold a valid driving license.
• Have first aid training.
• Hold an SSSTS qualification.
• Have an NVQ in Slating & Tiling/Sheeting & Cladding.

Essential Skills

• Have prior experience in external reactive building maintenance, identifying leaks and rectification (pitched roofing, guttering, slating, concrete tiling, flat roofing, and commercial sheeted roofs).
