Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Site Operations Manager to become an integral part of our Regional Civil Works team.

Key Details:
Location: Site Based in the Southwest
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, up to £56,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:
As a Site Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Regional Civil Works team in executing various civil engineering projects under the Environment Agency Collaborative Delivery Framework. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all site activities, including earthworks, concrete placement, and drainage installation, are performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Your daily tasks will include:
  • Managing work packages in alignment with project timelines and collaborating with operational teams.
  • Participating in regular meetings to maintain effective communication, report progress, and document any changes to project scope.
  • Prioritizing Health and Safety by ensuring all risk assessments are conducted and adhered to in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinating the efforts of operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize efficiency and control costs.
  • Ensuring timely project delivery within budget while achieving high levels of client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile:
This position is ideal for you if you possess:
  • A valid CSCS Gold Card and SMSTS certification.
  • First Aid Training and a solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of commercial and temporary works.
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
  • Experience in managing a small team effectively.
