As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, procurement, and implementation of flood protection studies, surface water management plans, and projects associated with the Local Flood Risk Management Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, procurement, and implementation of flood protection studies, surface water management plans, and projects.
- Work closely with other service departments and external organizations to ensure that infrastructure and flood risk are well managed.
- Process financial documents and transactions, and have knowledge of health and safety matters.
- Develop and deliver asset management plans, programs of work, and projects.
- Utilize various Microsoft Office packages and have excellent organizational and IT skills.
- HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Appropriate legislative, technical knowledge, and experience in a relevant field.
- Demonstrable experience of tendering and procurement of contracts, budget control, and health and safety matters.
- Business and customer-focused with the ability to respond to service requests from customers and clients.
