This is a fixed-term position of 12 months, requiring a Senior Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our team in North Glasgow Biochemistry. The department is renowned for its specialized areas, including the Scottish Trace Element and Micronutrient Diagnostic and Research Laboratory (STEMDRL), which handles over 10 million analyses of 180 different tests annually.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and direct supervision to trainees within the department. They will also contribute to the department's continued professional and personal development, supporting the successful applicant in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- HCPC registration as a biomedical scientist.
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development.
- Specialist portfolio in Biochemistry.
- Possession of a relevant Master of Science degree or equivalent in Biochemistry.
