Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Isla, our indoor-outdoor garden oasis restaurant and terrace. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring that every interaction is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring that every interaction is memorable and enjoyable.
  • Have a deep appreciation and knowledge of our menu and bar offering to confidently host our guests and enhance their experience.
  • Be highly social, upbeat, and friendly, with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds.
  • Confidently handle pressure well and thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and guests with ease, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a similar lifestyle boutique hotel, destination restaurant, or high-quality restaurant or cocktail bar.
  • Confident in restaurant operations and the order of service, with a passion for food and drinks.
  • Good level of drinks knowledge from cocktails to beers and wines to confidently make recommendations to guests.
  • Highly social, motivated, and pro-active, with a professional and positive attitude in all interactions.
  • Available full-time with full flexibility to work Monday–Sunday.
