Electively Home Educated Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team at Academics Ltd as an Electively Home Educated Support Specialist. This is a full-time position based in East London, specifically within the Tower Hamlets borough.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting families who have chosen to home educate their children. This will involve meeting with families at their homes or alternative venues to assess and review their home education arrangements. Additionally, the role will require attending multi-agency meetings, liaising with schools and other professional agencies, and ensuring the education and safety of the children.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct home visits to assess and review home education arrangements.
- Attend multi-agency meetings to discuss and coordinate support for families.
- Liaise with schools and other professional agencies to ensure seamless communication and support.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of safeguarding principles and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a flexible approach to meeting the needs of families.
