- Team Support: Assist in the management and development of junior members of the team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
- Corporate Tax Returns: Prepare and submit Corporate Tax Returns in conjunction with accounts for FRS 105 clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Accounting Workflows: Assist in developing and implementing smooth accounting workflows and processes between the bookkeeping team, ensuring prompt delivery of statutory accounts.
- Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Account Finalization: Finalize accounts under the overall control of the Senior Manager and Principals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified (1-2 years PQE) with a strong understanding of accounting standards and direct and indirect taxes.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Xero accounting software with the ability to demonstrate significant experience and knowledge.
- Communication and People Management: Excellent communication and people management skills, with evidence of successfully managing staff and clients.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a calm and collected manner to meet tight deadlines.
- Teamwork: A team player with good interpersonal skills and an ability to manage junior team members.
- Full-time Role: Monday to Friday (flexible time policy - combination of office/home working).
- Remuneration: Remuneration will be dependent on experience.
- Right to Work: Right to Work in the UK required.
- Annual Christmas Bonus: Equivalent to 1 week's salary.
- Pension Scheme: Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme all staff are auto-enrolled (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%) subject to eligibility.
- Private Medical Insurance: Private Medical Insurance following completion of 3 months service (this is a taxable benefit).
- Death in Service Scheme: Death in Service scheme cover (4x salary).
- Group Income Protection Scheme: Group Income Protection Scheme (non-contributory) following completion of 3 months service.
- Annual Leave: Annual Leave will be 25 days per annum (pro rata). 3 days are normally taken at Christmas/New Year.
