Paediatric Dentistry Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dentistry Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry, you will play a key role in providing leadership and expertise in managing level 3a Paediatric referrals to our service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist care to children with complex dental needs
  • Work in partnership with the wider community dental services team to deliver high-quality care
  • Lead and support the dental team in providing Level 3a treatment to children
  • Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • On the GDC Specialist Register in Paediatric Dentistry
  • Sedation training and experience
  • Masters in Paediatric Dentistry
Person Specification
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience in treating patients with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement
