Aircraft Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Check Manager to join our team at Qualitair Aviation Group, a Randstad Company. As a key member of our Base Maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering allocated maintenance inputs, projects, and company initiatives to schedule. Your duties will include assisting the Base Maintenance Management team as required, line management of all staff within your agreed area of responsibility, and issuing certificates of release to service for specific aircraft types. You will also be responsible for updating senior management as required, developing solutions to deliver maintenance to targets within budget constraints, and ensuring daily progress reports are issued for aircraft under maintenance. Additionally, you will carry out formal appraisals of hangar floor staff and advise the Head of Base Maintenance on potential for further training and individual development. You will also be responsible for carrying out DQS self-audit in line with base maintenance procedures, assisting with quality audit, and supporting the implementation of robust closure plans. The ideal candidate will have a Category B licensed engineer certification by aircraft type, a minimum of 5 years Base Maintenance experience as a B1 and/or B2 certifying engineer, and a flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
