About the Role
  • Lead tax computations for a significant client portfolio, including business owners, Partnerships, Sole traders, and high-value personal accounts.
  • Deliver trusted advisory and technical knowledge on corporate and personal tax issues.
  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.
  • Oversee the delivery of tax assignments, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
  • Provide strong people management skills, managing workflow and mentoring junior staff.
  • Communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Work closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory.
  • Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.
  • Drive the tax function's strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities and identifying new service lines for the existing portfolio.
  • Set an example to the team as a hands-on and proactive Partner Designate.

  • CTA and ACA / ACCA qualified with extensive tax experience in practice, primarily personal tax.
  • Strong business development skills and a passion to drive business growth.
  • Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills.

  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.
