The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a highly skilled Stock Management Specialist to join our team at Borehamwood on a permanent basis. As a key member of our Lab and Production Services department, you will be responsible for completing day-to-day activities within the vendor management inventory operations at Bio Products Laboratory. Your primary focus will be on replenishing and distributing Laboratory consumables, chemicals, and PPE using our Inventory Management software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Goods receiving and ensuring quality control processes are followed
  • Management of internal Inventory Management software
  • Processing stock orders for delivery by internal distribution
  • On-site parcel distribution using company vehicle
  • Managing customer requests (within service agreement) promptly and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate written records and work undertaken in accordance with GMP regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) A level
  • Experience of working in a lab environment is preferred, with knowledge of Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) standards
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Good computer skills, with knowledge of MS Office and SAP/E-Lims/other software
