Electromechanical Maintenance Technician - Temp to Perm Opportunity - Leading Facilities Management Provider

Are you an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician seeking a rewarding role?

Do you have a background in maintaining commercial properties?

If so, this position may be ideal for you.

A prominent Facilities Management provider is currently in search of an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will possess electrical qualifications (such as NVQ or C&G) and demonstrate a solid history in the maintenance of commercial facilities. Collaborating with the on-site maintenance team, the technician will be responsible for executing electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lighting systems management (including small installations, troubleshooting, lamp replacement, ballast changes, control panel operations, and power distribution)
  • Emergency lighting upkeep
  • Air Conditioning maintenance (involving Air Handling Units and Fan Coil Units, including filter replacements and cleaning)
  • Chiller system resets
  • Water treatment monitoring (temperature checks and non-dosing tasks)
  • Plumbing services (such as unblocking toilets)
  • Maintenance of pumps and motors
  • Building Management System (BMS) monitoring (e.g., temperature checks)
  • UPS system monitoring and readings
Working Hours & Compensation:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Competitive hourly rate
Candidate Requirements:
  • Electrical qualifications (C&G, NVQ, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in building maintenance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Availability for immediate start or short notice
