Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Asda Express. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
- Sales and Merchandising: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, including merchandising products, creating visually appealing displays, and promoting sales and promotions.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals, including supporting colleagues during peak periods and contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements:
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old due to the sale of tobacco and alcohol.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
