About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, leading by example and setting high standards for your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure they're working efficiently and effectively.
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including opening and closing shifts, training new starters, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Work closely with other Shift Leaders and Department Managers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the warehouse.
- Support the Department Manager with personnel management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
