Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate product functionality and performance.
- Develop and maintain automation test tools to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and development, to identify and address product issues.
- Create and maintain detailed test reports and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in hardware testing and validation.
Requirements
- Strong background in electronics and experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Knowledge of compliance standards, including EMC, radio, and safety regulations.
- Experience with test and validation methodologies and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with teams and present test results.
- UK driver's license and own car to commute to off-site test houses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with developers to design test cases for new products/technology.
- Ability to summarize technical information for varying audiences.
- Experience managing a test workstack and prioritizing tasks.
