About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Graduate TA. As a Graduate TA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a school environment.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist teachers with daily classroom activities, provide one-to-one support to students, and help create a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and build confidence in a school setting.

As a Graduate TA, you will work closely with students who may have complex needs, including Autism, SEMH, Learning Difficulties, and behavioral challenges. Your role will involve engaging students in their learning journey, providing personalized support, and helping them succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities, one-to-one, or small group sessions to support students' learning.
  • Help monitor and manage student behavior effectively.
  • Engage students in their learning journey and provide personalized support to help them succeed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to building positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for education and creating a nurturing, supportive learning environment.
  • The ability to motivate students and keep them engaged in their studies.
  • Comfortable with managing classroom behavior in a calm and supportive way.
