We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to lead our team in delivering high-quality ecological services to our clients. As a Senior or Principal Ecologist, you will be responsible for managing projects, providing expert advice, and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Lead and deliver projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Ecological Expertise: Provide expert advice on ecology and biodiversity to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to develop their skills and professional judgment.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Education: Degree level or higher in Ecology or a related field.
- Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in ecological consultancy, with a proven track record of project management and client-facing work.
- Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of ecology and wildlife protection in the UK legislative and planning system.

What We Offer- Competitive Salary: £31-36K for Senior Ecologist, £37K+ for Principal Ecologist.
