Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at House of Fashion Associates Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring timely payment from customers, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Chase overdue invoices from multiple high street retailers
- Manage invoices up to £100k
- Cash collection from customers via telephone and email
- Update records on the system
- Post cash receipts to the system
- Reconcile remittance advices
- Allocate payments on customer accounts
- Escalate debt collection when credit terms are exceeded
- Submit invoices to customer EDI portals
- Create month-end statement run
- Resolve queries from customers and provide copy documents when requested
- Raise manual invoices and credit notes on an ad-hoc basis
- Take card payments and process cheques received from customers
- Set up new accounts in the system
- Release sales orders
Requirements
- Experience of working within credit control, ideally in an import supply chain environment
- Experience of handling online direct despatch platform customers
- Confident in using all aspects of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good communication skills via telephone and email
- Experience of using Microsoft Navision is an advantage but not essential
