We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Vistry Group PLC, specifically within our Vistry Northern Home Counties division, based in Milton Keynes.

This role offers a competitive basic salary and annual bonus, as well as a range of benefits, including a company car, car allowance, or travel allowance, agile working arrangements, and up to 33 days annual leave plus bank holidays.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the residential market, a network of contacts within the industry, and the ability to identify viable land development opportunities both on and off market for delivery in the short to medium term.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and expanding the Division's key contact base, including land agents, land owners, local authorities, and other developers within the Business Unit's area of operation.
  • Preparing accurate viabilities, supporting the Senior Land Manager or Land Director with acquisition strategies, and presenting development opportunities to senior colleagues for approval.
  • Collating build costs, sales market research, local planning policy, and technical information to undertake a detailed assessment of a site's potential for development.
  • Working with the Planning Manager to obtain planning consents, discharge planning conditions, and manage S106 obligations and CIL payments.
  • Assisting in negotiating legal agreements with lawyers and third parties.
