Job Title: Principal Teacher (Secondary) Faculty Head Maths, Business and IT

Location: Alness Academy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Teacher to lead our Maths, Business, and IT faculty at Alness Academy. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and promoting a culture of innovation and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Maths, Business, and IT faculty to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
• Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of our students
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence and innovation
• Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• GTCS registration is essential
• Proven experience of leading and managing a faculty
• Excellent teaching and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
