Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our client's team in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and rebuilding complex aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and disassemble hydraulic Line Replacement Units (LRUs) for repair or overhaul.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify defective items, handling them according to established procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to assemble and test components.
  • Interpret and use technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and disassembly.
  • Prepare materials for assembly, including lapping of surfaces with proper tooling techniques and compounds.
  • Participate in cross-training and process improvement initiatives.
  • Follow operational procedures and ensure tooling is calibrated before use.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience in detail manufacturing, assembling complex components.
  • Strong engineering background with experience using various hand and power tools and inspection equipment.
Working Hours

37 hour week, working core day shift. Overtime is paid at x1.5.
