Senior Analyst at Dow Jones

We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst to contribute to our operations at Dow Jones. This position will report to the Executive Director and provides an exceptional opportunity to gain insights into the chemical sector.
As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with seasoned experts to refine your analytical capabilities and industry knowledge. Your duties will encompass market research, economic analysis, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote products and services to clients through diverse channels.
  • Deliver presentations for clients both in-person and remotely.
  • Manage and refresh critical databases and tools associated with product lines.
  • Create and execute innovative analytical strategies to support client needs.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and trends pertinent to specific product lines.
  • Collaborate on extended projects such as cost assessments.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the petrochemical sector is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in business analysis.
  • Experience in client-facing roles is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the chemical industry and product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confident public speaking abilities.
