Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for contributing to high-value projects within a variety of sectors across Central Scotland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To be a team player and show a willingness to learn all aspects of the mechanical and electrical sector.
  • Tracking costs and labor throughout the project.
  • Carrying out full construction take-off, tracking costs and labor efficiency throughout the project.
  • Preparing timely and accurate assessments/payment certificates/payless notices for subcontractors each month.
  • To ensure the final account is agreed within a specific project timeline.
  • Ensuring the Company will not be exposed to third-party claims.
  • To be proactive in seeking guidance from the Commercial Director in areas of development.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' experience working in a similar role for an MEP contractor, managing workload and tracking progress is desired.
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying.
  • Commercial knowledge of SBCC, NEC 3, and NEC 4 contracts.
  • Company car allowance or company car.
  • Private health care.
  • Employer pension contributions.
