As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of our governance arrangements and supporting the Company Secretary/Head of Governance & Risk in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Company Secretary/Head of Governance & Risk in promoting high standards of corporate governance and ensuring the organization meets its legal, governance, and regulatory obligations.
  • Develop and implement assurance activities for regulatory compliance and support service departments with their operational risk management.
  • Support the operational delivery of the internal audit program and work on broader corporate actions.
  • Coordinate governance meetings, take minutes, and maintain the document library on the Board Portal.
  • Manage digital records, title documents, and evidence supporting entries in the Charity's Assets & Liabilities and Contracts Registers.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in governance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of promoting high standards of corporate governance and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
