Marketing Assistant/Content Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant/Content Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and strategy of our social media channels, creating engaging content, and undertaking a broad range of marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and strategy of our social media channels
  • Create engaging content for our various channels
  • Undertake a broad range of marketing activities, including assisting in the planning and development of content, working with our creative agency, and undertaking brand representation at consumer shows
  • Ensure that our digital assets are up to date and the latest marketing material is available
  • Reply to enquiries that come into the marketing inbox in a timely and efficient manner
  • Liaise with our graphic designer to deliver briefs and create miscellaneous marketing collateral
  • Work with the demo team and send out demo day point of sale packs to accounts
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to see through the development and delivery of creative content
  • Good understanding of social media and the opportunities it presents
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications to intermediate level
  • Good project management skills and uses time management techniques to plan and organise workload
  • Highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for connecting with current and future consumers
  • Excellent proof-reading skills
  • Willingness to learn and carry out miscellaneous marketing activities
  • Degree/CIM in Marketing or related field
  • Understanding of CRM
  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
